Jimmy Mathis
Jimmy Ray Mathis Sr. 54, of North Little Rock went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 18, 2010 at his home. He was born on October 6, 1955 in Independence MO., he was the oldest of six children of Clayton Horace and Doris Rossette (Moore) Mathis.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Kenneth "Red" Mathis.
He is survived by his best friend and caregiver Benita Eula Marie (Sims) Mathis; his children, Jimmy and wife Kerry Mathis, Curtis Mathis, and Sheri and husband Kevin Thomas; a sister Barbara and husband Andy Odom; three brothers Rufford Mathis, Johnny and wife Kim, Dale and wife Amanda Mathis; 11 grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces.
Jim enjoyed fishing, woodworking, welding, and spending time with his grandchildren.
