Jimmy L. Martin, 81, of Little Rock, passed away November 5, 2013. He was born in Little Rock to Ray E. and Beatrice Nichols Martin and was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Dorothy Catlett, he is survived by his wife, Dezzie Jackson Martin; daughters, Donna Martin (Kinsey) of Little Rock, Pamela Peterson (David) of Bryant and Carla Martin (Steve) of Perryville; three grandchildren, Aaron Bryant of Little Rock, Tia Melanson (Craig) of Waldorf, Maryland and Donovan Godsey of Perryville; two great-grandchildren, Chloe Melanson and Logan Melanson; and his brother, Fred Martin (Barbara) of Alexander.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 7 from 5-7 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Services will be Friday, November 8 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home, followed by interment with Military Honors at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
