Jimmy Lynn Turner

Jimmy Lynn Turner, age 64, of Newhope, passed away on Monday, July 15, 2019. He was born on April 25, 1955, in Victorville, California, the son of Jesse Ray Turner and Allene Annis Grice Turner. He was preceded in death by his son, Jesse Turner; his granddaughter, Courtney Jackson; his parents; one brother, Bobby Turner; and one sister, Janice DeGarmo. For many years he owned and operated B&B Trucking Company, until his retirement. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved fishing, but his greatest joy in life was spending time with his family. Jimmy is survived by Rita Turner of Newhope; his son, Jimmy Ray Turner of DeQueen; two daughters, Amanda King of DeQueen and Angelique Frost and her fiance, Jason Sellers of Conway, South Carolina; five grandchildren, Matthew, Nicholas and Lucas Frost, Dylan King and Taylor Turner; five step-children; ten step-grandchildren; and numerous extended family members and friends. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 20, 2019, in the Pleasant Grove Free Will Baptist Church with Bro. Kenny Fant officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Turner, Randy Turner, Pierre Davis, Bimbo Flemens, Dylan King and Taylor Turner.
