Jimmy Lee Leath, 67, of Little Rock passed away on August 9, 2009. Born January 14, 1942, in Little Rock, Arkansas to Thomas and Molly Oldsby Leath, Mr. Leath retired after 30 years from the Arkansas Highway Department.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Leath of Little Rock; four daughters, Ellen Short of Little Rock, Janice Branam of Mabelvale, Tommie McCann of Little Rock and Beverly Brooks (Tim) of Bryant; two brothers, Odis Leath of Little Rock and Morris Leath of Shannon Hills; six sisters, Margaret Bennett and Lucille Gladden of Little Rock, Lola Graves of Jacksonville, Illinois, Carolyn Hall (Tommy) of Wynne, Arkansas, Deloris Taylor (Joe) of Redfield, and Johnnie Miller of Bryant; twelve grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 12 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), Little Rock. Services will be Thursday, August 13 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel, followed by burial in Oakland Cemetery.
