Jimmy Vincent Gaddy

Jimmy Gaddy, 94, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away at home on September 29, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. 

His life was full of consistency and faithfulness. 

In 1951 he joined the United States Army, serving until being honorably discharged in 1953. 

Jim worked for Ford Motor Company in Chicago from 1956 until his retirement in 1996, rising from a line worker to Executive Management. After relocating to Little Rock in 2000, he and his wife became some of the first members of New Life Church in Cabot, Arkansas, a congregation started and led by their son, Tim.

Jim is survived by his wife Ruthann, to whom he was married for 64 years, his three children, Lisa, Tim, and Todd, who knew him as “Daddy”, and his six grandchildren, Layne, Lincoln, Madison, Ally, Landon, and Mikayla, who all dearly loved their “Papa”.

Visitation will be held on October 5, 2024, at 12:00pm at New Life Church, 107 Commercial Street in Cabot, with the Funeral Service following at 1:00pm. 

Interment with Military Honors will be at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock on Monday, October 7, 2024, at 1:00pm.
