Jimmy Don Keel, Sr.

Jimmy Don Keel, Sr., age 71, of Hot Springs, passed away on Sunday, April 18, 2021.

He was born on September 14, 1949, in Kevil, Kentucky, the son of Rayburn Keel and Imogene Chumbler Keel. On December 6, 1968, he married Hestella Stevens. He is predeceased by his parents and one brother.

Jimmy was a Christian in his faith. He was the owner and operator of Keel’s Heating and Air.

Jimmy was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who loved to fish, but most of all loved his family. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Hestella Keel; his son, Jimmy Don Keel, Jr.; his daughter and son-in-law, Johneeta and Dan Mullen; two granddaughters and spouses, Kristy and Justin Hammons and Marissa and Reegan Kerr; three great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Landon and Haydon; his sister, Peggy Burton; several nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

A memorial service conducted by the family will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, April 25, 2021, at the Keel home in Hot Springs.

Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs.
