Jimmy Howard Brown, age 49, of Hot Springs, formally of Arkadelphia, passed away Saturday, December 29, 2019 at CHI St. Vincent Hospice Care Unit following a short battle with pancreatic cancer. Jimmy, son of the late Jimmy Harold and Mary Lou Irwin Brown, was born August 9, 1970 in Henryetta, Oklahoma. Graduated from Jessieville High School and a member of Park Hill Baptist Church in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, Helen Irene Dunn and Ernest Dunn, a brother, Gregory Todd Lindsey and a former wife, Tracy Goodman Brown.
He is survived by three brothers; Jeffrey Kent Lindsey (Stacy) of Weleetka, OK, Jonathan Craig Lindsey (Dana) of Seminole, Ok, and Thomas Eric Lindsey of Tulsa, OK; one sister, Brandi Hudson of Hot Springs, two sons, Tyler (Amber Beals) Brown of Arkadelphia, Cody (Devon Porter)Godwin and one granddaughter, Ryleigh Godwin of Hot Springs. Jimmy loved Ryleigh and she loved her paw paw. Jimmy is also survived by his former wives; Beth Godwin Kolasch of Hot Springs and Debbie Butler of Arkadelphia. Known to friends as “T-Bone” and “Rock”, Jimmy was an AVID fan of Oklahoma Sooners Football.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Park Hill Baptist Church, 3363 Hollywood Road, Arkadelphia. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to: Kindred Hospice, 2212 Malvern Rd., Hot Springs, AR. 71901 or to The American Cancer Society.
