Jimmie Hubbard

Jimmie Hubbard age 81, of Bismarck, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2013 in Arkadelphia. He was born April 22, 1932 the son of the late Elmer and Mary Beatrice Willingham Hubbard. Jimmie was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a retired mechanic and maintenance supervisor working at Goodyear and Hospitality Care Center in Arkadelphia.

Jimmie was a member of Caddo Valley Baptist Church. He had a passion and desire to serve the Lord and was always willing to share his faith with others.

He was preceded in death by a son, Gary; a granddaughter, Sonya; a great-granddaughter, Faith and four brothers, Charlie, Eddie (Sleepy), Marion (Pete) and Wallace Hubbard.

Survivors are his wife of fifty-six years, Pat Williams Hubbard; two sons, James Michael Bowerman and wife, Renee of Hot Springs, Bobby Dale Hubbard and wife, Sharon of Homosassa, Florida; two daughters, Pam Hubbard (Ring) Hutchins and husband, Toby of Arkadelphia, Darla Hubbard Brown and husband, Howard Wayne of Conroe, Texas; two sisters, Doris Callison of Ft. Worth, Texas, Shirley Hurst and husband, Robert of Curtis; thirteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 12th at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home with Bro. Doug White and Bro. Marvin Pate officiating. Interment with military honors will be in Caddo Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Friday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons. Honorary pallbearers are Dick Patterson, his R.O.M.E.O. brothers, the administration, staff, director of nursing and certified nursing assistants of Twin Rivers Healthcare especially in the Twin Haven hallway.
Memorials may be made to Caddo Valley Baptist Church or to Lewy Body Dementia Association 912 Killian Hill Rd. Lilburn, GA. 30047.
