Jimmie Brucks

Jimmie Lynn Brucks age 74 of North Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away March 2, 2014 at his home. He was born on October 13th 1939 in Conway, Arkansas to parents Willie Marie Callahan and Fritz Brucks. Jimmie retired after 46 years with the Arkansas Democrat. Jimmie was a 32 degree Mason with the Masonic Lodge in North Little Rock for many years and enjoyed the outdoors. He loved fishing and hunting and being with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Kenneth F. Brucks of North Little Rock, a brother Danny F. Stane of Mayflower and a sister Sandra Edwards of Mayflower.

He is survived by four children, son James L. Brucks of North Little Rock, son Jackie L. Brucks (Donna) of North Little Rock, daughter Katrina Herring of Cabot and daughter Katherine Brucks of Little Rock; one sister Andrea Stane (Perry) of North Little Rock. He has six grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren many nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Springhill Baptist Church in Greenbrier with burial following at Springhill Cemetery.
