Jim Ed Carter

Jim Ed Carter, 80, of Beebe, Arkansas went to be with the Lord July 22, 2021. He was born July 16, 1941 in Eastland, Texas to Jim T. and Jewel Carter. He was a retired construction worker who loved to run big equipment. He retired from his most recent job at the Beebe Animal Shelter.

He is survived by his two daughters, Lori Brown and Debbie Smith of Searcy; one son, Jimmy Carter of Beebe; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 29, 2021, at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. Please visit www.smithfamilycares.com/westbrook for guest register.
