Jim Wells
Jim Wells, 77, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away November 18, 2015. He was born April 27, 1938 in Sheridan, Arkansas to the late Joseph Luther and Lessie Glover Wells.
Jim proudly served in the United States Army and later retired from FW Woolworth after thirty years of management service. He was a member of Ironton Baptist Church where he served as custodian for twelve years. Golfing was Jim's favorite hobby.
Preceding Jim in death are his parents; two sisters, Gracie Williams and Edna Welch; and two brothers, J.L. Wells and Archie Wells.
Jim leaves behind to cherish his memories his loving wife of fifty-six years, Kathy Wells; two daughters, Sue Wells and Shannon Claton and husband Scott; grandson, Nicolas Claton; two brothers, E.L. Wells and wife Lois and Bobby Wells and wife Bonnie; sister, Wilma Campbell and husband Harold; and many other family members and friends who loved Jim and will miss him always.
Funeral service, officiated by Bro. Sidney Thompson, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 21, 2015, at Ironton Baptist Church, 14718 Ironton Cut-Off, Little Rock, Arkansas. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Burial to follow at Ironton Cemetery.
