Jim Gladden, 68, of Little Rock, died February 10, 2010. He was born in Monticello, Arkansas on October 23, 1941 to James V. and Ouida Boone Gladden. Jim worked for Safeway for twenty-two years, retiring as a food broker. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and golfer. He was a member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife, Janis Henry Gladden; son, Randy Gladden of Dallas, Texas; and brother, Phil Gladden and wife, Kathy of Hot Springs.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 14 from 3-5 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, February 15 at Oakland Cemetery in Monticello, preceded by visitation from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home, 943 Hwy. 425 North in Monticello.
