Jill Ellen (Sherman) Frost, 72, of Benton, Arkansas passed away January 29, 2020. She was born October 12, 1947 in Cedar Falls, Iowa to the late Donald and Margaret (Sanders) Sherman.
Jill was a talented teacher and had a passion for teaching her students in Pre-K and Kindergarten. She enjoyed swimming and tennis in her younger years. Getting together and playing bridge, mahjong and bunko with her friends was the highlight of Jill's week. Jill's biggest passion was her grandchildren. She would take them to the library and read book after book with them while they cuddled in her lap. She and her husband loved to travel. They took family cruises and toured Europe three times where Jill would take notes and pictures to document each destination.
Left to cherish her memory are: loving husband of fifty-one years, Michael Frost of Benton, Arkansas; daughter, Allison Scroggins and husband James of Benton, Arkansas; son, Ben Frost and wife Carissa of Little Rock; grandchildren: Harrison Scroggins, Madelyn Scroggins, Charlie Scroggins; sister, Barbara Frantz and husband Donald of Newburn, North Carolina; brother, Douglas Sherman and wife Joan of Farmington Hills, Michigan; and many more family members and friends who love Jill and will miss her always.
Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM, Saturday, February 1, with memorial service following at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street, Benton, Arkansas.
