J.H. Stacy
J. Harry "J.H." Stacy Jr., 78 of Vilonia, passed away Wednesday morning on August 19, 2009 at Conway Regional Medical Center. He was born on February 28, 1931 in Memphis, TN; he was the son of J. H. Stacy Sr. and Lelia McDonald Stacy.
J.H. was a retired grocery store owner and Accounts Payable Supervisor for St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, where he was active in the Senior Group, J.H. enjoyed needle pointing, reading, and watching television.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Nonie k. Stacy.
Survivors include daughters Stacie and husband Bill Sanford, and Katie Stacy, and a grandson Noah Sanford all of Vilonia.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 24, 2009 at Friendship Baptist Church in Vilonia, with Pastor Ken Jordan officiating. A private burial will follow the service at Pinecrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Alexander. Memorial Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the Church.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Adam Goyne, Ronnie Goyne, Ryan Knox, Craig Knox, Bob Fason and Jim Knox.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Arkansas.
Services are under the direction of Huson Funeral Home in Sherwood.
