Jewel Dean "J.D." Pride

Jewel Dean “J.D.” Pride was born November 16, 1922, in Evening Shade, Arkansas.

In 1943 he married his childhood sweetheart and best friend, Helen Christine Woosley, “Tine” and their happily ever after lasted for 67 years until she went home to the Lord in 2010. They had 2 children Monty (Anita) and Melissa Gates (Charles) plus four grandchildren Shalaine, Nathan, Daniel, and Tim. In later years J.D. was able to enjoy his seven great-grandchildren whom he dearly loved.

J.D. found peace on Monday, June 13, 2022 at 99 years of age.

Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM, followed by the funeral at 10:00 AM, Friday, June 17, 2022 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home.  Interment will be at Rest Hills Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Friendly Chapel Church of the Nazarene, 116 S. Pine St., North Little Rock, AR  72114.
