Jettie Glover Jeffcoat, 93 of Little Rock, passed away on Friday, April 30, 2010. She was born on June 2, 1916, the daughter of Charles and Sarah Glover in Lonoke County.
She is survived by a niece, Linda Gray Gilbert of Bella Vista; 2 nephews, Charles E. Gray of Collierville, Tennessee and Joe E. Glover of Lonoke; and 2 grandchildren, Carol Wadsworth and Becky Ebery. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Jack Jeffcoat; 2 brothers, Atlas and J.B. Glover; and 1 sister, Katie Wahl. She had numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family whom she loved.
Jettie was a RN for 40 years, and a member of Markham Street Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Lonoke High School and Baptist School of Nursing.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Glover Cemetery.
Visitation will be at Mt. Zion Church from 1:00 PM until the service begins.
