Jessie Thomas,
Jessie L. "Tot" Thomas, 86, of Little Rock, went to Heaven March 23, 2009 to be with his son, Rev. Earl R. Thomas. Born November 6, 1922, he was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Jenny Thomas, four brothers and two sisters.
He leaves to his cherished wife of 66 years, Virginia N. "Cooter" Thomas, sisters, Juanita and Jeanette, daughter, Brenda Vaught and her husband, Michael, grandchildren, Dale, Ronda, Teresa, Lisa, Tammy and Stephanie and their families, sixteen great-grandchildren and four and ½ great-great-grandchildren, his legend and the many miracles in his life.
Family visitation will be this evening, Wednesday, March 25 from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), Little Rock. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 26 at Ironton Baptist Church, 14718 Ironton Cutoff Rd., Little Rock. Burial will follow in Ivy Chapel Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the church.
