Jessie Spears

Jessie "Sarge" W. Spears, 90, of Beebe, Arkansas, was born May 30, 1923, and he died Sunday, May 11, 2014. He is survived by his daughter, Joan (Billy) Reaves; son Jerry (Brenda) Spears; two sisters, Mabel Bennett Ashcraft and Sue Gifford; two brothers, Richard Spears and Marvin Spears; ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.
Jessie was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Spears; brothers Fred Spears, Bobby Spears, Russell Spears, Leon Spears, Jack Spears and Alvin Spears; and his sister, Thelma Williams.
The family would like to give special thanks to Saline Memorial Hospice in Bryant.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 15, 2014, at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe, with burial in Hebron Cemetery.
