Jessie Orrell

Jessie Orrell, age 75, of Hot Springs, passed away on December 4, 2023.

He was born on March 10, 1948, in Pearcy, the son of Levi Orrell and Cecil Reynolds Orrell. He is preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Austin Orrell and Kenneth Orrell.

Jessie was raised by loving nurturing parents during hard times, but he made the most out of very meager times.  He tried numerous things, brick mason, satellite sales, rental property and ended up as a local night club owner of The Centerfold Club.  He was not afraid to take a chance and was honest to a fault.  He had an outgoing personality that benefited him throughout his life.  He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.

He is survived by his two sons and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Michelle Orrell of Pearcy and Ray Orrell of Hot Springs; three brothers, Floyd Orrell, Ronnie Orrell and Phillip Orrell; one sister, Glenda Ham; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

Funeral services 10:00AM, Friday, December 8, 2023, with Chaplain Christopher Rodgers officiating in the Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs.

Interment in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Sunshine.

Visitation 6:00PM-8:00PM, Thursday, December 7, 2023, at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Jeff Orrell, Ray Orrell, Ronnie Orrell, Phillip Orrell, Scott Orrell and Dwane Orrell.

Honorary pallbearers are Mark Canada and David Wilson.
