Jessie Mae Neel age 95 of Arkadelphia died Sunday, June 5, 2016. She was a retired seamstress and former co- owner of Neel's Fabric Center in Arkadelphia. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Arkadelphia. She loved to fish, her favorite saying was,"Catch'em, clean'em, fry'em up and eat'um." Her other hobbies were quilting, cooking for her family, camping and playing cards. She was "Nannie Neel" to everyone. She is preceded in death by her husband James Herbert Neel, her parents, Bernice and Mary Hall Kelly, and a brother Howard Kelly.
Survivors include three daughters, Jotanna (Tim) Wright of Benton, Brenda (Wibby) Bell of Hot Springs, and Debbie (Rodney) Grant of Arkadelphia, seven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Thursday, June 9th in the Ruggles -Wilcox Funeral Chapel in Arkadelphia with Pastor Dennis Anderson and Pastor Dari Rowan officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 10 am Thursday till service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
