Jessie Hampton

Jessie (Leon) Hampton, 76, of McRae, Arkansas, born April 19, 1936 in Senath, Missouri to Jeff and Jewel Haslip Hampton, departed this life on November 22, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Jennie Hampton; three sisters, Mable Thompson, Ada Clark and Wonda Wooten; and one brother, Robert Haslip.
He is survived by his wife, Jimma Hampton of McRae; two daughters, Jeanene Perdue of Beebe and her children, Jessie Perdue (Kourtney) and Michella Tippitt (Anthony) and Tiffany Coley; and LaDonna Mason of McRae and her children, Tonya Taylor (Allyn) and Haley Voiles; five sisters, Carol Schwartz, Donzie Anderson and Rosie Rogers of Florida, Maggie Beall of Georgia and Adell Hill of Ward; two stepsons, Bob and Doug Morris; two stepdaughters, Dixie Shearer and Mitzi Schreiber; nine step-grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 26, 2012, at McRae First Baptist Church, with burial in Lebanon Cemetery.
