Jessie Glen Williams, 89, of Mabelvale, passed away January 4, 2009. Born in Brownsville, Arkansas on November 27, 1919 to L. Amos and Daisy Brownfield Williams, he was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Verna Ward Williams; son, David W. Williams (Mary) of Drasco; daughter, Glenna James (Bob) of Clarksville; sister, Ruby Hawley (Euell) of Little Rock; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, two brothers and a daughter, Karen Brack,
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 8 at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), Little Rock, followed by burial in Sipes Cemetery in Cleburne County at 1:00 p.m. There will be visitation on Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
