Jesse Dean Sappington, 60, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away July 7, 2024. He was born March 21, 1964 in Anna, Illinois to the late Grady "Gus" Sappington and Ruby Sappington.
Jesse Sappington was a very simple kind of man, if you asked anyone, they immediately tell you he, loved his family and his babies (pets). There was a time when he was very active. He loved getting outside, when he could. He enjoyed some of the simple pleasures most like picking off a fig tree on a hot day, or watching old movies. That man could talk your ear off and was 110% positive about everything he'd say. He was a walking dictionary.
From his nephew, Curtis Abbott: “Uncle Jesse was a good man, always fun to be around, and always there for a good laugh. He was a great uncle and a great friend. He will be missed."
Jesse worked for the City of Little Rock over twenty years as a sign maker.
Jesse was preceded in death by his parents, Gus and Ruby Sappington; and brothers, Gus, Jr. and Danny Sappington.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Karen Sappington of Haskell; daughter, Lorrie Sappington and Justin Anderson of Little Rock, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Aryanna and Axel; brother, Marvin Sappington; sister, Esther Sappington; and many family members and friends who love Jesse and will miss him always.
