Jesse Kirkland
Jesse Leonard "Lynn" Kirkland, 47, of El Paso, Arkansas, joined his sons Jesse and Benjiman on Thursday, December 31, 2009. He was a long-time employee of Weaver Bailey Construction in El Paso.
Jesse is survived by his wife, Robin and daughter Brittany of the home; stepson, Matt Daniel of Beebe; stepdaughter, Stacy Shapard of Conway; grandchildren Cheyenne Daniel and Michael Shapard; his parents, J. B. and Freda Kirkland of El Paso; two sisters, Paula Blakemore of El Paso and Donna (Gary) Adkins of Hot Springs; grandmother, Lucy "Ma" Kirkland; father- and mother-in-law, Horace and Leola Galloway; brother-in-law, Keith (Sonia) of Romance; sister-in-law, Connie (Jimmy) of Conway; five nieces and nephews; and thirteen great-nieces and nephews; and numerous other friends and family.
In addition to his sons, he is preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill and Ella Smith and Leonard "Short" Kirkland; and his brother-in-law, Charlie Blakemore.
Family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 4, 2010, at Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Blasingame Cemetery. www.westbrookfuneralhome.com
