Jesse Lee Culpepper Jr.

Surrounded by loved ones, Jesse "Junior" Lee Culpepper Jr., 63, of Sherwood, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on December 9, 2023.  He was born on February 21, 1960, to Jessie and Joan Culpepper in Butzbach, Germany.

Jesse is preceded in death by his father, Jessie Lee Culpepper; son-in-law, David Miles; and great nephew Danny Grover Knight Jr.  Jesse is survived by his daughters Amanda and Jessica Culpepper; his mother, Joan Culpepper who would like to say "Jesus has taken my son whom I love to heaven to be with God."; his siblings Montie (Janice) Culpepper, Patricia Holland, Jeanie (Bill) Williams, Tony (Barbara) Culpepper, Vanessa (Jim) Federwisch, and Victor Culpepper.  He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren who he loved with all of his heart.

Jesse avidly loved all things NASCAR and Kansas City Chiefs football.

Jesse worked in a variety of fields he mastered.  He was well known as "Mr. Fix-it".  Jesse was the life of the party, a jack of all trades, and a great storyteller.  His favorite role was being Poppy to his grandchildren.  We will all miss him dearly.

Visitation will be 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at Smith Sherwood Funeral Home (7700 Hwy 107) with a service following at 11:30 AM.  Burial will be at 1:00 PM at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Montie Culpepper, Tony Culpepper, Bill Williams, Jason Culpepper, Danny Knight, and Danny Miles.
