Jesse was born April 29, 1943 in Nacogdoches, Texas, to Joseph and Cleo Courtney and departed this life October 19, 2006. Jesse was a dedicated and loving husband as well as a devoted father and grandfather. Throughout his life Jesse gave unselfishly of himself to his family as well as his friends.
Jesse was blessed with a fun-loving personality, and a contagious sense of humor. He spent most of his life working and managing in the commercial construction field. Over the last several years God blessed him to work in sales in the commercial roofing industry. Even though he had a decline in his physical health this allowed him the opportunity to continue providing for his family while enjoying his work which made him extremely happy. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
