Jessamine Thomas Bishop age 90 of Arkadelphia died Tuesday, July 22, 2014. She was born April 17, 1924 the daughter of Jesse Bruce Jones and Hazel Van Camp. She was retired from General Dynamics and a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She is predeceased by her husbands, Lewis Thomas and W.C. Bishop and grandchildren Letisha and Brian Thomas.
Her survivors include her daughter Sherry Cagle of Joan, son Lewis Thomas (Bud) of Roseburg, OR., grandchildren, Laurie More and James Miller and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10 AM Saturday, July 26 in Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Pastor Ray Franklin officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 6-8PM Friday at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.
