Jess Leo Uribe

Jess Leo Uribe, born in Small, California in 1936, passed away peacefully in his home in Beebe, Arkansas on December 8, 2024.

Jess served in the United States Air Force from 1956 to 1979. He then went on to work for another twenty years in Civil Service at the LRAFB. He was a past VFW Post Commander. He also loved to play darts and loved to play pool as much as possible.

He is preceded in death by his parents Leo and Catalina Uribe, both of California; two sisters Rachel Uribe and Jose Valles; two brothers Salvador and Carlos Uribe.

Jess is survived by his brother Danny Uribe of California; daughter Sheila Criswell of McRae, Arkansas; son Dennis Uribe of Beebe; 3 granddaughters; eleven great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

 A Visitation is planned for Tuesday, December 17th from 9:00-10:00 a.m. with service to follow at 10:00 a.m., Smith Westbrook Funeral Home Chapel, 404 W Dewitt Henry, Beebe, Arkansas. Burial at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in Sherwood at 12 Noon.
