Jess Hicks
Jess Hicks, 95, of England, Arkansas died Saturday, February 28, 2015. He was a Baptist, a WWII veteran and a member of the American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Faye; two daughters, Dorothy Johnson and Mary Ann Burnett; and a great-granddaughter, Micah Bryant Myers.
Mr. Hicks is survived by daughters Jessie Staton of Sheridan, Peggy (Aubrey) Baker of England, and Debbie (Joe) Carlock of Ward. He was Papaw of thirteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Smith - Westbrook Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at Smith - Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Smith - Westbrook Funeral Home.
