Jerry Thompson, Sr
Jerry Dale Thompson, Sr, age 76 of Sherwood, passed away November 4, 2015 in Little Rock. He was born December 29, 1938 in Little Rock.
Jerry retired from AP&L as an Entergy Supervisor, and was veteran of the Army National Guard, as well as a member of the Big Rock Masonic Lodge #633. He was dedicated to his family, and loved fishing, boating, water skiing, and ICE CREAM. Jerry was of the Baptist faith.
He is preceded in death by his parents William Bryan and Maude Mae Thompson, and a son Bruce Allen Thompson.
Survived by his darling wife of 57 years Mary (Agnus), brother Randall Thompson of Lottie, LA; and children
Sherry(Carl) Anderson of Beebe, Jerry(Becky) Thompson, Jr. of Beebe, Donna Vestal of White Hall;
grandkids: Amber (Nile) Moore, Brandon Thompson, Britney Bell, Jared (Sara) Shepherd, Christen (Robert) Bond, Heather Thompson, Joshua Thompson, Colby Vestal, Bryan Thompson, Heather (Mac) Burks, Shane Clinton, Karla (Michael) Caradine, Cari (Sidney) Collins; great- grandkids, Maci and Jaxson Moore, Maddison and, Mason Fulcher, Lailah Shepherd, Brooklyn Walker, Sutton Bond, Julian Walker, Barrett Bond, Kaeli Sutter, Mary Grace and Sarah Caradine, Ellianna and Everett Collins, Cody Burks, Makenzie and Makayla Sikes.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Huson Funeral Home Chapel in Sherwood with burial following at Concord Cemetery in Furlow, with services officiated by Dale Prater, who the family extends many thanks to for dedication.
