Jerry D. Sadler, 67, of Romance, died on December 2, 2011. He was born June 12, 1944 to Garlan and Jessie Sadler in Seminole, Texas. Jerry was born eighth in a family of ten children. He served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Jerry retired after a lengthy career with Entergy as an Operations Manager. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son; and four siblings. He is survived by two daughters, Glenna Walker of McRae and Becky (Bo) Pruitt of El Paso; three grandchildren, Baylea Walker, Taylor Walker, and Dalton Pruitt; lifelong friend and mother of their children, Maye Sadler; and five siblings, Janell Payne of McRae, Linda (Kenneth) Swafford of McRae, Gerlene (Bruce) Douglass of Houston, Texas, Marcella Hobbs of Olney, Texas, and Duane (Diane) Sadler of Haughton, Louisiana.
