Jerry Lee Pruitt, age 77, went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 22, 2024. He was born in Searcy, Arkansas to O.C. (Sam) and Norma Rodgers Pruitt on September 2, 1947. After the death of his father, he was raised by his uncle T. L. Pruitt. He proudly served in the U. S. Air Force as Military Police in Vietnam and, was a driver for Yellow Freight for over twenty years. He made many friends along his route. Jerry was a member of the United Methodist Church of Searcy.

He is survived by his wife of forty-five years, Lynda Redding Pruitt; two children, Heath Pruitt and Heather (Bryon) Loy; three grandchildren, Erica (Aron) Strzelecki; Austin Pruitt, and Aiden Loy; six great grandchildren, and four siblings, Donette (Marvin) Lowman, Joel (Mary) Pruitt, Vickie Taylor and Helen (Johnny) Sanders.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Corliss Taylor.
