Jerry Price

Jerry Price, 65, a resident of Oliver Springs, Tennessee, passed away Friday, July 20, 2012, at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge.
Mr. Price was born September 21, 1946 in White County, Arkansas. He has lived in Oliver Springs for the past six years. Before moving to Tennessee he lived in Arkansas and California.
Jerry retired in 2004 as a general manager at the Ramada Inn in Oxford, Mississippi. He had previously worked as a freight broker for News Transport in Memphis, Tennessee. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Haskell and Mildred Louise Price and by brothers H. L. Price, Bennie Price and Leroy "Cotton" Price.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Betty Hall Price of Oliver Springs; a daughter, Erica Nicole Rainey of Beebe; a son, Todd Douglas Price of McRae; and grandchildren, Jasmine Rainey and Madison Price.
He is also survived by a special aunt, Mary Catherine Stark of Searcy; nieces Angie Russell and husband, Jimmy, Dianna Petray and husband Michael, Lynn Heffner and husband, Lynn and Lisa Cook and husband, Larry; a nephew, Dennis Price and wife; special family, the "Hoots and Hooters"; sisters-in-law, Becky Melton and Punkin Raby; nieces, Donetta Harvey and husband, John, Jennifer Rowe and husband, Jeff; a nephew, Christopher and fiancé Miranda and son Corey and many special friends, including a very special friend, Eddie Raby.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe, with funeral following at 8:00 p.m., with Rev. Kathy DeBusk officiating. Burial and graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at Weir Cemetery.
