Jerry "Wayne" McIntire, Jr., 46, of Benton, Arkansas passed away July 5, 2018. He was born March 3, 1972 in Jacksonville, Arkansas to Jerry Wayne, Sr., and Barbara McIntire.
Wayne loved God first. He lived to preach the Word of God. He was a guest pastor at many churches and filled in wherever necessary. Wayne loved his family more than anything and defended them passionately. Spending time at Sunset Lake fishing was a favorite pastime. He also loved to play his guitar and sing. Wayne was a huge Razorback fan. Wayne's priorities in life were God, Family, and his fur baby, Carl Lee.
Preceding Wayne in death are his father, Jerry Wayne McIntire, Sr.; sister, Samantha Sue Penix; grandparents; and niece, Alyssa Dillavou.
He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Barbara Withem and husband Bill of Benton; "Daddy", Charley Penix of Alexander, Arkansas; sister, Stephanie Dillavou of Benton; two brothers: Anthony Penix and wife Marie of Benton and Brian Penix and wife Lindsey of Alexander, Arkansas; "brother" uncle, Roger D. Weeks and wife Bonnie of Vilonia, Arkansas; grandmother, Marie McIntire of Ward, Arkansas; best bud and fur baby, Carl Lee; and a host of family and friends who love Wayne and will miss him always.
Reception visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 11 at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street, Benton, Arkansas. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
