Jerry Johnson

Rev. Jerry Johnson of Beebe, was born September 7, 1945 in Grace, Mississippi and went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 16, 2014.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Joe Charles and Charlsie Johnson; and one sister, Eva Jean Johnson. He leaves behind his faithful and devoted wife of 50 years, Brenda; four brothers: Joe, Larry, and Brian from Arizona; and Doug of Alma, Arkansas; two sisters: Sandra Lundsford and Diane Brockway from Arizona.

He was a minister of the gospel for over 50 years and planted six churches in various states. He has served the last several years as a faithful Minister and Board Member of the Lighthouse Pentecostal Church of Beebe, Arkansas.

Rev. Johnson proudly served as an employee of Wal-Mart for 13 years and most recently served our community in the meat department. Wherever he was in life, his life was his testimony and for all who knew him there was no doubt of whose he was and whom he faithfully served.

A Time of visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, October 19, 2014 at the Lighthouse Pentecostal Church in Beebe with a Life Celebration Service to follow at 5:00 p.m. Smith - Westbrook Funeral Home will conduct a Graveside Service at 10:00 a.m. Monday at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, Beebe.
