Jerry Don enjoyed traveling, he especially loved going on trips to Branson, and sometimes he would get in his car and set out on the road, never knowing where he might end up, but loving every adventure he went on. In his younger years, Jerry Don enjoyed going to the horse races, where he would make sure he placed his bets on a “gray” horse. Also, in his younger years, he enjoyed fishing and squirrel hunting with his best buddy, Danny Burke.
He could make some of the best candy and was often known as the “candy man”. Jerry Don will be most remembered for his beautiful decorations at Christmas, and his talent for putting up Christmas lights was something that folks everywhere enjoyed. Above all, his greatest joy in life was spending time with his family, whom he loved and adored. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
