Jerry Wayne Breland, age 73, born December 1, 1938 in Farmerville, LA to Willie Columbus and Mittie Evelyn (Nash) Breland passed away to be with his Lord and Savior on the morning of May 16, 2012. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Wilbur D. Breeland. He leaves behind two children, a daughter Deborah S. Breland Ratliff and her husband Jeff of Elm Springs, AR and a son Ronald W. Breland of Lowell, AR. His 4 grandchildren Emily Douglass and her husband Greg of Bentonville, AR and John C. Adams III and wife Sydney of Springdale, AR. Diedre M. Breland and her fianc? Wes Anderson of Talhequah, OK and Ronald W. Breland II of Lowell, AR. And 10 great grandchildren, Tatijanna Gmitrovic of Germany, Jaxon, Jakob, Jamez, Aly and Jacen Douglass of Bentonville AR, Jade Adams of Elm Springs AR, Ariana Brooks and Jaelynn Adams of PawPaw, IL and Austin Sharp Adams of Springdale, AR. Brother, Dale Breland of Malvern, AR. His late brother Wilbur's children Jack Breeland of Bentonville and Anita Breeland Townsend of Bentonville AR. He had many cousins, nieces, nephews and family in LA, CA and OR. He lived several years in Oregon and retired to AR in 1999 to be closer to his children and grandchildren. He was the true definition of a Master Shade Tree Mechanic and was a racecar driver and drag car racer in the early to mid 60's with no fear of taking the checker flag for the win. He loved to tinker with all kinds of "handy man" tasks, fishing and his bird, Boogie Bird. He was much loved and will be missed by his family and friends from throughout the journey of his life here on earth. To follow his wishes he will be cremated and will make his final resting place in Laran, LA with his Mother. Arrangements are pending.
