Jerre Jones

Jerre Ann Jones, 80, passed away Thursday January 27, 2022, at UAMS Hospital. She was the daughter of Jerry H. and Dorothy Sewell Gill. After attending Hall High School and UALR, Jerre worked at the Bowman Law School most of her career as an office manager.

She accepted Christ into her life as a young girl and had a deep faith. She regularly attended the First Presbyterian Church. Her family was her love, but gardening and caring for animals of all kinds was her passion, even spiders and snakes.

Jerre is survived by two brothers, Sam L. Gill of Novato, CA and Roe Gill of Little Rock; niece, Ellen Kocins; nephew, Sam Gill Jr.; a host of cousins; and finally, her Little Shih Tzu, “Lily”.

The family would like to thank the UAMS doctors, nurses, and staff for their compassionate care of Jerre.
