Jeremy Michael Gregory, 42, of Benton, was found January 1, 2023, in Jessieville. He had been in a car accident Oct. 8, 2022. His family has been searching for him for three months.

 

He was born July 18, 1980, in Ruidoso, NM. Jeremy worked in Hydraulics and Carpentry. He played piano and guitar. He loved music. He enjoyed the art of fractal burning wood and made numerous one of a kind items.  He was also an avid outdoorsman. He loved camping and being in nature. He was an eloquent writer and wrote poetry.

 

Jeremy's greatest joy in life was being a father to his daughter, Haley. He was a member of Second Baptist Church in Arkadelphia.

 

Jeremy is preceded in death by his beloved father, James Michael Gregory; and uncle, Chris Thomas. He is survived by one child, Haley Nicole Gregory Brooks and husband, Austin of Benton; mother, Melissa Brown Walls of Bryant; sister, Lindsey Henley and husband Zane of Hot Springs; grandparents, Richard and Alta Brown of Arkadelphia; aunts, Richelle Thomas of Mabelvale and Yolanda Murray of Oklahoma; cousins, Bryce and Brantley Thomas of Mabelvale; nieces, Vivian and Ruth Henley; nephew, Lyle Henley; and many other relatives who loved him dearly.

 

A private family celebration of life will be held in the near future.

 

The family would like to thank all the amazing citizens of Jessieville who found Jeremy and gave his family some of the answers they had so desperately been searching for.
