Jeremy Lee Gossett

Jeremy Lee Gossett, 37, left this world on June 3, 2024.  He was born on May 11, 1987, in Searcy, Arkansas to Angie Head and Jerry Gossett.  Jeremy will forever be remembered for his military service.  He served from 2007 until 2009 in the Marine Corps, and later joined the National Guard.  He loved fishing, playing sports, and hunting, as well as working to repair boats or ATV’s.  Mostly, he loved spending time with family, especially his children, Alyssa (13) and Apollo (6).  Nothing made him happier than being a father.  Anyone who knew him would tell you the same.

Jeremy would give you the shirt off his back if needed; he was just that kind of person.  He adored his family and friends, many of whom he called family.

Jeremy leaves behind his daughter Alyssa Gossett of Benton, and son Apollo Gossett of McRae; his mother, Angie Head of Beebe; father Jerry Gossett of Greenbrier; sisters Leona Elkins (Troy), Laura Gossett, Stefanie Ricks (James), and Lacy Gossett; cousins Travis (Haylee) Reeves and Tyler Reeves; nieces Shyenne Edwards, Audrey Taylor and expected Lexus; nephews Jlynn Graff and Brody Horsman; as well as extensive friends and family.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Tom and Ruth Reeves, his uncle Tommy Reeves, as well as several aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, 404 W. Dewitt Henry Dr., Beebe, Arkansas.  Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 7, 2024, at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Concord Cemetery.
