Jennifer Lynn Myers

Jennifer Lynn Myers, born on September 17, 1974, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 1, 2023. She is survived by her loving parents, Don and Linda Myers, and her furry princess, Daisey Mae.

Jennifer is preceded in death by her grandparents, the late Raymond and Maxine Horn of Malvern, AR., and William Ransom and Grace Myers of Arkadelphia, AR.

Jennifer lived in various areas, including New Jersey and New York City, but she always held Little Rock, Arkansas, close to her heart. She spent her years as a young girl in Little Rock and then moved to New Jersey for her teenage years. Because of her love for Pulaski Academy, she returned to Little Rock to graduate her senior year. Jennifer later graduated Magna Cum Laude with a business degree from Penn State University.

Jennifer had a passion for theater, which blossomed early on, ignited by her admiration for Annie and her days as a dancer at Joel Ruminer’s Dance Studio. She also danced under the direction of Phil Black, a Broadway choreographer, while living in New Jersey. Jennifer had a true love for Broadway musicals, often accompanied by her beloved Daddy, her cherished companion at these shows.

Jennifer’s creativity also shone through her jewelry designs. Jennifer Lynn Jewelry Designs was found on shelves of Saks Fifth Avenue and in cities like New York City  and Beverly Hills for seven years.

Jennifer was fortunate to travel all over the country, embracing life’s experiences. Jennifer spent many years of her life in Northwest Arkansas- yet her heart always longed for Little Rock- the place she cherished as home and where she spent her final days.

A visitation will be held at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home at 8801 Knoedl Ct, Little Rock, Ark., 72205 on Wednesday, December 6 from 5:00-7:00 p.m., and a service will follow on Thursday, December 7 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Service can be watched here: https://www.facebook.com/events/2076463259412578.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Pulaski Academy Early Childhood School (ECS). Jennifer met her lifelong friend and current Head of the ECS,  Tiffany Shirey Knight, in the inaugural four-year-old class and their bond symbolized the kind of friendship that Jennifer had with so many.
