Jennifer McMahan

Jennifer Leigh McMahan, age 43 of Little Rock, went to be with her Lord and Savior after a courageous battle with cancer on September 24, 2015. She was born on August 10, 1972 in Boonville, Missouri; and she was the daughter of Michael H. Lindemood and Paula Murphy.

Jennifer worked as a Principal for Little Rock Preparatory Academy, she enjoyed watching football, especially her favorite team, the Kansas City Chiefs, reading, and most importantly, being involved in her kids activities.

Those closest to Jennifer will remember her as being a woman of sacrifice, continuously endeavoring to meet the needs of her spouse, children, family, co-workers and kids that she worked with. She was a straight-forward, honest person, who was always hard working as well as loving.

Through the duration of Jennifer's illness, she never complained, she kept her faith in God, never letting it waver, as she persevered with grace, fighting against breast cancer, in order to continue to be there for those that she wanted to continue to serve, until she was unable to fight any longer. Jennifer will truly be missed.

Those left to cherish her memories include her husband, AJ McMahan; children, Cameron Harris (age 18), Jaylen Harris (age 12) , Gianna Harris (age 10), and Tyra McMahan (age 10); her mother, Paula Murphy; her father, Michael H. Lindemood and his wife Pat; her brother Mike L. Lindemood, a great-grandfather, Paul Phelan, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at Promiseland Church Ministries at 4520 South University, Little Rock, AR 72204.
