Jenettie Porterfield
Jenettie Yarbrough Porterfield age 93 of Bismarck, passed away on Friday, August 31, 2018 at her home. She was born February 11, 1925 in Bismarck to the late Cleburn Lee and Betty Lou Jones Yarbrough. Jenettie was a member of Pleasant Hill Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, R. T. "Cotton" Porterfield; two grandchildren, Cheryl Denise Williams and Jeffrey Bryan Norton; one great grandchild, Aurora Jewel Jarrett; seven brothers and sisters; eleven nieces and nephews.
Survivors are four children, Faye Norton, Diana Porterfield, Sue Williams and David Porterfield all of Bismarck; six grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and fourteen great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-8 PM Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.
Graveside service will be 10:30 AM Wednesday, September 5th at Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Bismarck. Pallbearers are Junior Rowton, Sam Rowton, Bryan Williams, Scotty Williams, Billy Keeton and James Porterfield. Honorary pallbearers are A. J. Bond and Arlis Griffith.
