Jeneet Godwin

Jeneet Godwin, age 79, of Story, passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021.

She was born on December 10, 1941, in Story, the daughter of Thomas Orville Qualls and Lura Lamb Qualls. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Godwin, and her son, Gary Godwin.

She retired from Munro Shoe Company and had worked at both their Hot Springs and Mount Ida facilities. She was a member of the Refuge Baptist Church.

She is survived by three children, Ruthie Geurin and Thomas Godwin, both of Story, and Terry Godwin of England; thirteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and her sister, Elastine Spurling of Oden.

Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home and Crematory, Glenwood.
