Jeffrey Stephen Legendre, 42 of North Little Rock passed away Friday, January 10, 2014. He was born in Manchester, New Hampshire January 3, 1972. Jeffrey was the son of James Legendre and Janine Belaski Poisson. He came to North Little Rock in 2005.
He attended Manchester West High School in Manchester, New Hampshire and graduated in 1990 and attended Delta State University in Mississippi.
He received the Army Service Ribbon, the Army Lapel Button, National Defense Medal, M16 Expert Badge, Parachute Badge, Army Achievement Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal with Bronze Service Star, Kuwait Liberation Medal, and Saudi Arabia Medal. He was currently employed at Verizon Wireless as a computer tech.
Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Erika Lynelle Legendre (Abernathy); son, JonMarc; brother, JayMarc Legendre; stepmother, Cynthia (Smith) Legendre; stepfather, Michael Poisson; grandfather, Jules Belaski; and a blended family of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 a.m., Friday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday followed by a Rosary service at 7:00 p.m., at North Little Rock Funeral Home. Online obituary at www.SmithFamilyCares.com .
