Jeffrey John Kaup

Jeffrey John Kaup of Sardis, Arkansas died December 4, 2022 after a long brave battle with cancer. Born in Stuart, Nebraska on October 14,1958 to Leola Weichman Kaup and Fredrick Bernard Kaup, Jeff went to Stuart High School, after which he spent most of his career as a highly sought-after boat mechanic. After retirement, Jeff stayed busy building in his shop, taking care of the land, and cooking.

Preceded in death by both of his parents and his brothers Greg and Troy Kaup. Jeff is survived by wife of 32 years, Velma Lowe Kaup, children Kindra Warner (her husband, Jeff and their three children Kaleb, Lincoln and Abigail Warner of TX), Tara Holroyd (her husband Jerad and their daughter Payton Holroyd of FL), and son David Sublett (his wife Carrie and their two daughters Madison and Mackenzie Sublett of AR).

Cremation arrangements by Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home. Burial in Stuart, Nebraska will be at a later date.

Friends and family plan to host a crawfish boil in Jeff’s honor later this Spring.
