Jeffrey Charles Jones, 58, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away suddenly on June 6, 2022. Jeff was born on August 13, 1963, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, the first born of Charles and Jeneen Jones. He graduated from Harrisonville (Missouri) High School in 1981 and went to Devry Technical School in Kansas City, Missouri. After graduation in 1984, Jeff worked for Steak and Ale restaurants as a manager for 3 years.
In 1987, Jeff took a job with Stanford and Son’s Comedy Club where he would work as a manager in various locations for 6 years. Alongside his business partner, Larry Marks, they went on to open other clubs in Wichita, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, and Memphis (closed). Aside from the comedy business, Jeff enjoyed buying distressed properties and remodeling them to create rental properties.
Jeff was known and deeply loved as a quiet guy with a sharp wit. He had a goofy laugh and is remembered fondly for saying “Reallllly?” and “You’re kidding!” He loved bringing people together through humor. He was an extremely active man. He loved to hike, golf, play Frisbee golf, and even mastered Tae Kwan Do as a second degree black belt. Jeff and Connie Walker, his girlfriend of 13 years, loved traveling together. He had one daughter, Hailey Jones. Jeff relished in spending time with his family, especially Connie’s grandchildren and his nieces and nephews.
Jeff is survived by his girlfriend, Connie Walker of Little Rock; her daughter and husband, Trisha and Danny McCall, and grandsons Ty Jones and Dakota McCall all of Benton, AR; his daughter, Hailey Jones of Los Angeles, CA; brother, Jonathan Jones (Jill) of Olathe, KS; sisters Julie Zaring (Mike) of Harrisonville, MO; and Janna Smith of St. Peters, MO; along with several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
