Jeffrey Blome

From Carolyn and Ron:

Our beloved son, Jeffrey Russell Blome, left this world just days past his 32nd birthday. He leaves behind a loving family that will try to fill the void with great memories.

Jeff was born on October 6th, 1989 and died in his sleep on October 11th, 2021.

He was a motorcycle rider, a walker of the Big Dam Bridge and a perfectionist on any job he undertook.  He could lay flooring, build doors, paint a perfect line where ceiling meets a wall, recently learned to hang cabinets and loved to shoot a bow and arrow or a long gun.  He adored his pets Abbey and Sunny.

His ever present ear-buds showed us his love for music and how he loved good blues, country and rock.  He had a soundtrack for every phase of life.

Jeff is survived by his parents, Ronald and Carolyn Blome, two sisters and his brother-in-laws, Erin Parrish and Billy Parrish and Cara Bartelme and Michael Bartelme, and most important his two nieces Adelaide and Collins who brightened his life beyond measure.  Warm hugs, wrestling on the floor and piggy-back rides will be their forever memory of him.  And there is a long list of loving aunts, uncles and cousins and friends.

We miss you.

From Jeff’s Sister Cara:

If you knew Jeff, you know that he went all-in on the relationships that he had.  He loved hard, was loyal, and he would be there for you when you needed him the most.  He was especially kind to animals.  He loved his cat Sunny and had dozens of photos of himself with any random dog or cat that crossed his path.

Ever since he was a little boy he wanted to live a life in service of others.  He loved his two nieces fiercely and they brought him immeasurable joy in their time spent together.  The only brother of two sisters he jokingly lamented he was surrounded by girls again.

Our lives lessen in his absence, and will never be the same.
