Jeannie Royse
Jeannie Brown Royse, 84, of Little Rock, passed away November 17, 2007. She retired from the VA Hospital as a Dental Assistant, known to her family as "Mama Jean". She was born March 25, 1923, in Little Rock, to William Arthur Brown and Eva Ellen Jackson Brown. She was a member of Geyer Springs Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eston Royse, one son, Mark Royse, and one daughter, Susan Brown Schulte. She is survived by one daughter, Deborah Seifert, and her husband Harold; two grandchildren, Melissa Schneider, and her husband Mike, and Benjamin Lord; and one great-granddaughter, Susan Haley Johnston.
Open viewing is from 1:00pm to 5:00pm, Monday, November 19, 2007. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 20, 2007, at Little Rock Funeral Home, from 10:00am to 11:00am. Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, AR. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, 211 Natural Resources Drive, Little Rock, AR 72205. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Court, Little Rock, AR 72205 (501-224-2200).
