Jeanette Barksdale Wright age 65, of Sparkman, passed away Friday, January 16, 2015 in Arkadelphia. She was born October 23, 1949 in Curtis, Arkansas to James and Sue Ferguson Barksdale. She was a member of Sparkman United Methodist Church and along with her husband, Garland Wright owned and operated the Food Place in Sparkman for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Larry Barksdale.

Survivors are her husband of forty-three years, Garland Wright; one son, Christopher Wright of Ft. Smith; two daughters, Shelley Wright of Fayetteville, Brandi Cotton and husband, William of Sparkman; her step-mother, Joni Barksdale of Maumelle; two brothers, Jerry Barksdale and wife, Judy of Hampton, Jeff Barksdale of Mayflower; two sisters, Barbara Lowden and husband, Jim of Jacksonville, Sara Rickett and husband, Stephen of Benton; two grandchildren, Lunden and Tanner Cotton.

Visitation will be 2-4 PM Sunday, January 18th at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel in Arkadelphia.

Services will be at 10:00 AM Monday, January 19th at Sparkman United Methodist Church with Rev. Carol Clark and Bro. David Dillard officiating. Burial will follow in Sparkman Cemetery. Pallbearers are David Brazeale, Gary Ray, Bill Daniell, Richard Cupp, Robbie Seale and Donny Denton. Honorary pallbearers are Greg Martin, Curtis McKay and Wayne Wilkens.

Memorials may be made to Sparkman United Methodist Church.
